Hi, I'm Harrison - I built Drafty

The problem

My mum has been a mortgage broker for 20 years. I grew up watching her work all night, paper work, calling clients, emailing. The lot.

At the start of 2026, I left school after a term of Year 11. I wanted to build things, and I wasn't going to learn that sitting in a classroom learning algebra.

Since then I've gotten my Cert IV in Finance and started working with Mum three days a week. That's where Drafty came from.

What I noticed

Working alongside her taught me how a broker actually writes to clients, the tone, the phrasing, the judgment calls that come from real experience.

It also showed me where she lost hours: the same enquiry emails, worded slightly differently but answered the same way, every single bloody day!

That isn't a people problem. It's a repetition problem and that's what software is built for.

Who I am

I'm 17, from Hobart, and I built Drafty purely for brokers to free up their time.
